This lagoon lies at the edge of Aegean Sea and is enclosed on all sides by rocky surfaces rising around it in a circular shape.
This emerald water body is steeped in mythology; it is said to be created by Zeus for his daughter Aphrodite—the Greek goddess of love and beauty.
2. Gunlom Plunge Pool, Darwin, Australia
This beauty is a part of World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park. It's amazingnesss is accentuated by the presence of a waterfall, on top of which it is perched; the path to this pool is quite a thrill to climb.

This blue lagoon is tucked away in the island of Mindanao. You will have to climb down 500 steps to reach this hidden pool. Its charm is further enhanced by the hidden cave behind the falls which you can enter.
10. Homestead Crater, Utah, US
This one is a unique thermal hot spring with a beehive-shaped crater, formed 16 metres below the limestone rock formation. It is the only warm scuba-diving destination in the US and thus attracts a huge crowd of enthusiasts.
