The 7 th World Happiness Report that was published in March 2019 focused on the global happiness amongst the people and communities in 156 countries and how they find their lives to be; based on a life evaluation poll and other predictors.

The major predictors considered for this study included the GDP per capita in terms of the purchasing power, the life expectancy at birth, social support at the time of crisis, freedom in making life choices for oneself.

Social standards, digital media, governance, impact of conflicts between nations, generosity, corruption in government/in business, positive/negative effect - the previous-day experiences of an individual measured for anger, sadness, joy, worry or laughter, also played a crucial role to rank the 10 happiest countries in the world.
