1. Maza city in North Dakota had population of 5 people according to census of 2000. The city was dissolved in 2002.

3. Most of the pasta in America is made from North Dakota's durum wheat. In fact, Grand Forks, North Dakota, organizes an event each year to honor the crop.
4. North Dakota has some crazy laws: it is illegal to wear a hat while dancing and to doze off with your shoes on!
5. North Dakota holds the Guinness World Record for the highest number of snow angels made simultaneously at one place.
6. Square Dance is North Dakota's official dance. In this dance, four couples dance together forming a square.
