At the end of Cours Mirabeau, you’ll be able to swing by the iconic Rotunda Fountain (the first of many beautiful fountains you’ll see in Aix).
Don’t miss the photo op at Cathédrale Saint-Sauveur – a beautiful blend of the Gothic, Romanesque and Baroque architecture styles. Its unique look serves as a visual timeline, depicting each era of the city’s history.

Although Aix-en-Provence is a city best toured on foot, a fun little mini-tram ride might help you out on your fountains tour.
Right outside Aix, hike up Mont Sainte-Victoire for a postcard view of the entire city. This sun-baked hill was immortalized by seminal French artist Paul Cézanne in his paintings. You can visit his old studio in Aix.

Check out the national heritage site of the Roquefavour Aqueduct – the largest stone aqueduct in the world. It straddles the river Arc, just outside Aix-en-Provence.
