Disney World is located in Florida and is a popular vacation destination. If you want to feel the beach sand between your toes there are a few good beaches around Disney World where you can sunbathe, surf, beachcomb or simply gaze into the mesmerizing blue sea.
Daytona Beach
It takes an hour from Disney World to reach Daytona Beach. The coastline of Daytona Beach is 23 miles packed with hard, white sand.

Lighthouse Point Park in Ponce Inlet is a peaceful picnic spot here.
Amenities such as water sports, paddle boards, playground, and banana boats are available here. The Ponce de Leon Lighthouse Museum and Marine Science Center are a wonderful diversion for both kids and adults.

Cocoa Beach
Southeast of Orlando lies the Cocoa Beach and it is over an hour's drive from Disney World.
The Space Coast area is a nearby attraction here and you can go for deep sea fishing or go on an eco-tour adventure. Visit Cocoa Beach Pier, it's a historical landmark or the fastest growing port- Port Canaveral.
Restaurants, dog park, playground, surfing schools for kids are some of the prominent amenities available here.

Clearwater Beach
White sandy beaches, stunning sunsets, and warm Gulf Coast waters are some of the prominent features of Clearwater Beach.
The beach is home to hordes of dolphins. The day does not end without watching fire performers and musicians. On the weekends, kid-friendly movies are screened. St.Pete Beach is close by.

Canaveral National Seashore
If you want to explore one of the natural beaches near Disney World, travel a little north of Cocoa beach.
You will come to Canaveral National Seashore. It's an untouched beach with sand dune and a lagoon. You can camp here, with your family. Boating, fishing swimming, beachcombing, surfing are some of the activities that are offered here.
Dolphins, turtles, and manatees can be seen here. Seminole Rest, a historical park is a must for the history buffs. It houses shell mounds dating back to 2000 B.C.
Anna Maria Island
Anna Maria Island is situated on the southwest coast of Florida.
The island is surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico, Tampa Bay and Intracoastal Waterway. The shoreline of Anna Maria has amazing beaches where you can sunbathe or swim. Don't go by the size of the island. Anna Maria island has something offer everyone.
Kids can visit Bayfront Park, explore Coquina Baywalk, or beachcomb the entire day. For a foodie, the island offers unforgettable dining experience. Fresh seafood to delectable desserts are served in all eateries here.
