#1: Munroe Island, Kerala
Located in Kerala’s backwaters, Munroe Island is a cluster of eight small islets. Situated at the confluence of Ashtamudi Lake and the Kallada River, this island boasts of magical landscape and rich local culture.
You can reach this island via a ferry from the city of Kollam. Canal cruises and water activities are top-notch on the island. You can either opt for a home-stay or rent a houseboat for the best experience.

#2: Majuli Island, Assam
