Holy Trinity Cathedral

Experience spirituality at the symbol of piety in Ethiopia, built during the reign of Emperor Menelik II.
Buried under the cathedral are Emperor Haile Selassie and Empress Menen Asfaw and other illustrious personalities. Today it preens itself as a school, college, museum, and monastery.

Lion of Judah Monument

Visit the symbol of Ethiopia and her valiant emperors, facing the Addis Ababa railway station.
Relief portraits of Menelik II, Haile Selassie, Zewditu, and Makonnen Wolde Mikael could be seen on this guilded bronze statue which is placed on a black granite plinth.

St. George's Cathedral

This octagonal-shaped architecture is a class in itself. Built in 1896, the structure is a symbol of gratitude for the victory in the Battle of Adwa.
Afewerk Tekles, an Ethiopian artist, showcases his artwork embossed on the stained glass windows of the cathedral. It has a display of appalling swords, a series of titanic helmets made of lion's mane used in the wars!

AU Conference Center and Office Complex (AUCC)

The African Union's secretariat is located in Addis Ababa.
The AUCC opened its curtain on 28 January 2012. The building stands 328 feet tall.

Medhane Alem Cathedral
