Pobiti Kamani
Pobiti Kamani (The Stone forest) is a desert with natural stone formations. The hollow stone columns are 5 to 7 m high and are filled with sand.
Aladzha Monastery
The Aladzha Monastery dates back to the 11th–12th century. Byzantine era coins and ceramic pieces were found in the caves here.
Roman Thermae
Constructed in the late 2nd century, Roman Thermae are the largest Roman baths in the Balkans.
Port of Varna
The Port of Varna is one of the most vibrant places to visit in the city. Go for walks along the port or grab a bite at the pleasant eateries around.
The beaches in Varna are great for sunbathing and water sports. There are even natural hot springs around some of the beaches.
Located in the heart of the Sea Garden, the Varna Zoo houses 60 species of animals including tigers, lions, camels, llamas, brown bears, etc.
State Puppet Theatre
Founded in 1952, the State Puppet Theatre has produced more than 250 shows. Located next to it is the only one-of-its-kind Museum of Puppets in Bulgaria.

The oldest gold treasure in the world was found in the Varna Necropolis dating back to 4600–4200 BC by excavator operator Raycho Marinov in October 1972.
