Jiuzhaigou National Park is like the poetry of Earth… visit Jiuzhaigou once and trust us, you’ll realize why it was worth visiting a place with such a complex name! We know, nature is no dummy, it's the artwork of God… and to be brutally honest this park is a masterpiece! Stay tuned and you’ll know it soon…
This masterpiece, a UNSECO World Heritage Site, had to suffer the wildness of nature with a 7.0 magnitude earthquake on 8th Aug’17 and resulted into closure for some years!

27th Sep’19, the lucky date, the fairyland has been re-opened with 85% of its area ready on its feet to showcase its charm while curing some of its bruises yet.

As Jiuzhaigou, for now, is open only for tour groups, make or join one. They allow 5,000 tourists per day. Read ahead and the planning is done for you!

When to Visit?

Mid-October – Early November, during fall. But also expect lot of crowd at this time.

Oh! It’s cold enough there, thanks to its high altitude! If you are unlucky enough, it might rain too!

How To Get There?

Flights and Buses are available. No trains though! You can take a flight from Chengdu, Beijing, Xi’an or Shanghai; or commute by bus... would be a long distance!

Accommodation

Perfectly budget stays waiting for you! From small inns to elite ones, most hotels are tibetan-styled.

Tickets and Timings

Since the trial period is on, visitors will have to buy tickets from designated websites. For now, the park will be open from 8:30am to 5 pm!

Pro Tips!

There’s a possibility of altitude sickness as the valley entrance is at 6,561 feet where as the airport is at 11482.94 feet! So take all the necessary precautions.
Given the high altitude, boarding shuttle buses inside the park would be suitable.
