Eindhoven's streets are filled with art, whether they be murals, street art, graffiti or statues. This is reflected in the city's various museums and parks.
Philips, the famous electronic company, was founded in Eindhoven. The Philips Museum is a summary of all the products that Philips has made in its history, with working displays of TVs, Radios and the like.
PreHistorich Dorp is an open air museum that visualizes life in the middle ages. Its an interactive museum where one can cook food using middle age utensils, sew clothes and much more with the help of the staff that is at hand.
Dierenjk is a zoo that is kid-friendly. The more dangerous animals like lions and cheetahs have their own enclosure while one can interact with the friendlier animals.
Van Abbemuseum is located near a riverbank. They showcase Dutch and Belgian art as well as pictures from such maestros as Picasso and Kandinsky. They also have themed exhibits.
Enversed VR Center is Europe's largest Virtual Reality Center. Here, one can play their favorite games in a VR setting along with friends and have a totally unique experience.
Stratumseind is a pub street, the biggest in Holland. With the young crowd of Eindhoven, the street is spectacular for a night out with each pub offering something new. For the more adventurous, one can also take part in a pub crawl.
Eindhoven takes pride in it's Football team PSV Eindhoven, one of the most successful in Dutch Football. A tour of the team's Philips Stadium includes a visit to the museum, that showcases the club's history as well as a free drink at the bar.
Or depending on the timing, one can just buy a ticket to the game and experience the incredible atmosphere created by the passionate local fans.
