Boldt Castle
A major attraction in the Thousand Islands, this private castle was built by multi-millionaire George Boldt for his wife, Louise in 1900. But after her death in 1904, he stopped the construction in immense grief.
The Thousand Islands Bridge Authority restored and completed the castle in the 1970s. It has been accessible to visitors after that. You will be amazed by witnessing this historic token of love!
Wellesley Island State Park

Singer Castle on Dark Island
This historic castle located on a 7-acre island in the St. Lawrence River was built between 1900 and 1905. It was occupied by Frederic who was the 5th CEO of Singer Sewing Machine Company.
A guided tour of the castle allows you to see the classy architecture, beautiful furniture, and the mysterious secret passages in this four-story building.
