American Revolution Museum

The story of the American Revolution from the inception of the colonial period to the beginning of the Constitution and later is depicted beautifully through artifacts, interactive exhibits and films here.
Don't miss visiting the 4-D theatre at the museum which shows enactments of the Battle of Yorktown.

Yorktown Battlefield

American Independence was won at the Yorktown Battlefield when the British forces under Lord Charles Cornwallis surrendered to the armies led by General George Washington. You must visit the museum exhibits and watch the orientation film at the visitor center.
Explore the place by driving through the battlefield, to visit the Surrender Field, the Moore House, the innumerable cannons and fortifications. If you want to dive deep into history, you can join a ranger for a guided tour (walking) of the battlefield as well as the town.

Riverwalk Landing

Explore the best of Yorktown by planning a visit to the Riverwalk Landing! You can pick a thing or two at the local shops including unique art pieces, jewelry and home decor articles.

Also, the Riverwalk Landing is the best place to relish some local cuisines at the unique eateries. From gourmet burgers to artisan pizzas and from fresh seafood to sushi, the place has it all!
You can enjoy some quiet, romantic time with your partner by taking some romantic sunset sails and looking around for dolphins!

If you both love adventure, then take a Segway for a guided tour of the place or rent a bicycle for a refreshing ride down the Riverwalk.
Don't miss the open-air Farmers Market on Saturday mornings! Also, if you are visiting the place anytime from June to October, you can be a part of the free outdoor concerts on weeknights at the Riverwalk.

If you are a classic car fanatic, then visit this place on Saturday nights, in the months of April to October. You can bring your classic beauty to the drive-in for showing it off and interact with like-minded car enthusiasts while enjoying great tunes played at the show.

Watermen's Museum

The place to take your kids for an educational trip to understand boat building, pirates' history, archaeology and nature, in general! The historical plays, exhibits, hands-on demonstrations will be of great educational help to your kid.
