This open-air museum, located in Golden Point, portrays Ballarat in its first decade after Gold was discovered there.

Take underground tours of the Red Hill Mine, a recreated gold digging where the world’s largest gold nugget was found.
Or see the sound-and-light show 'AURA' depicting the story of gold.

Kryal Castle

Ballarat Botanical Gardens
The Ballarat Botanical Garden is 99 acres wide, featuring a modern conservatory, and a heritage statuary pavilion.
The garden is distributed in three parts, comprising of a Victorian pleasure garden, and The Prime Ministers Avenue, displaying bronze busts of all Prime ministers since the Federation.

Ballarat Wildlife Park
The Ballarat Wildlife Park, spread across 37 acres of natural bush land, offers interactive wildlife experiences.
It houses the various native animal species of Australia like koalas, wombats, quokkas, echidnas and both saltwater and freshwater crocodiles.
You can spend your time here hand feeding free-roaming Kangaroos and Emus, shopping at their souvenir store or taking part in the animal adoption program.
