St. Simons is an island near the Georgia coast. Prime attractions here include St. Simons Island Lighthouse Museum, East Beach and Neptune Park.
Cannon's Point Preserve

 The attraction sprawls over 600 acres. It boasts of wild native species and gorgeous mature maritime forest.
Go Swimming or Golfing at Neptune Park

 It is a slick water park featuring slides, loungers as well as pools. Sports lovers can enjoy an 18-hole miniature golf course here.
St. Simons Island Lighthouse Museum

 The museum features colorful exhibits of historical photographs and rare artifacts. Incidentally it is one of only five operating lighthouses in Georgia.
East Beach

The sandy beach is known to be dog-friendly. Popular activities here include water sports, sunbathing as well as swimming.
Fishing Pier

 The pier has outdoor lighting making it perfect for an evening stroll. Here folks fish for flounder,trout, sharks and redfish.
Fort Frederica National Monument

 The site contains the archaelogical remnants of a colonial era fort and town. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Christ Church

 It is one of the oldest churches in Georgia. The  famous church is surrounded by greenery and contains a cemetery.
World War II Home Front Museum

 Here visitors get to learn coastal Georgia's immense contribution to World War II. Opened in 1936 the historic museum is located inside the Historic St.Simons Coast Guard Station.
Visit the Beautiful Beaches

 St Simon Island beaches have child friendly tides and pristine surroundings. Popular beaches include the Coast Guard Station Beach, Messangle Park and Gould's Inlet Park.
Attend the Annual St. Simons Food and Spirits Festival

 The event celebrates the region's famous culinary heritage. Visitors get to sample the region's iconic dishes as well as interact with local and famous culinary experts.
