These white-sand beaches are perfect to work on your tan, enjoy a family vacation, or even run around with your dog. The beaches boast of stunning coconut plantations, clear waters, and abundant marine and bird life.
The state park is home to the oldest standing structure in Miami-Dade County – the Cape Florida Lighthouse built in 1825.

For the ambitious ones, you can climb the 109 steps of the lighthouse for stunning panoramic views.
It is the perfect place to try activities like kayaking, snorkeling, and fishing around seawalls. Else, you could rent chairs/umbrellas and enjoy some grill while picnicking.
The beach covers a total area of 808 acres.
Crandon Park Beach
There is a tennis center, beach volleyball courts, an 18-hole golf course for sport enthusiasts; and picnic shelters for people who want to hang out.

There’s a marina too, where you can enjoy the water by boat or participate in a moonlight canoe trip. Pack your lunch and drinks, put on some music, and spend the day relaxing!
Nature lovers can enjoy the mangrove boardwalk, sea grass beds, dunes, and the fossilized reefs at the Bear Cut Preserve.
This park is connected by the Rickenbacker Causeway and is another world in its own because of the infinite activities you can do here.
Historic Virginia Key Beach Park
It houses the stunning Miami Seaquarium, the University of Miami’s Rosentiel School of Marine and Atmosphere Science, and an antique carousel.
You can chill under the palms or swing on a hammock while enjoying the views of Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay. It also has a children playground and a miniature train, which makes it perfect for a family trip.
Do a proper research on the events happening as this place hosts amazing music festivals and other outdoor events.
The calm waters and constant winds of the beach make it famous among windsurfers and paddle boarders. You may even take a sailing lesson.
