Watch Hill Beach, Westerly

Among the most loved beaches of Rhode Island, Watch Hill Beach has been attracting visitors since the 19th century.

A broad stretch of sandy beach, decent surf and the famous and perhaps America’s oldest Flying Horses Carousel meant just for kids, makes it an ideal family beach.
After a relaxing day at the beach, stroll around the Watch Hill village and grab something to eat, or walk from Fort Road till Napatree point and soak in the sight of seabirds and a perfect evening sky.

Misquamicut Beach, Westerly

One of the most happening beaches in Rhode Island, the three-mile stretch of Misquamicut beach has everything one would want for an action-packed day at the beach.
Jet skiing, boat rides, water slides, surfing lessons, food and refreshments, anything you name, you will find it here. In the evening, karaoke and music fills the air setting the party scene for the rest of the night.

Easton Beach, Newport

A soft sandy stretch of less than a mile, Easton Beach - also known as First Beach in Newport, is a nice public beach to spend a day at. Get an arm chair and umbrella for a relaxing time, or rent boogie boards and surf the waves.
The soft sand makes for a great walk and there is a carousel area for kids to indulge in. The beach has basic amenities as well as wheelchair facility. There are a couple of eateries nearby where you can grab something to eat.

Narragansett Town Beach, Rhode Island

If surfing is on your mind while you are in Rhode Island, Narragansett Town Beach is an ideal place for you to go. There are quite a handful of surfing schools nearby where you can learn the basics and nuances of surfing.
Broad golden shore equipped with basic amenities and a couple of eateries and places to stay nearby, Narragansett Beach attracts almost 10,000 visitors during the weekends.

East Beach, Charlestown

Stretching over 3 miles, the East Beach in Charlestown is a part of the Ninigret Conservation Area and is an ideal beach for some quiet time. Not commercialized as other popular beaches in the state, there is limited parking area available.

If you are looking to soak up some sun and beach vibes in an unadulterated setting, you can go wrong with this place.

Crescent Beach, Block Island

One of the most photogenic beaches in Rhode Island, Crescent Beach stretches over 3 miles and has a white sandy shore.

Running along the island’s east coast from the Old Harbor to Clay Head, the beach is well equipped with all basic amenities. You can rent beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards and have a great time chilling here.

Sachuest Beach, Middletown

With great sand and good surf, Sachuest Beach also known among locals as the Second Beach is a mile long family-friendly beach.
