Planning a trip to the most magnificent of all waterfalls? You better be there at the right time then. The best time to visit these falls is from June to August, with other not-so-bad times mentioned ahead.

No other waterfalls are as famous as the Niagara Falls. They're not the tallest or the widest, but they're certainly the most awe-inspiring.
Their sheer volume strikes as a magically breathtaking sight. Tourists from all over the world flock to get a glimpse of these falls, year after year.
If you're among them, you better be there at the right time, unless prior commitments make you choose otherwise. Here, we'll tell you what you can expect at different seasons.

June to August

Temperatures matter a lot when you're visiting these falls.
This is one of the main reasons why the months from June to August are your best bet. Note down, there are going to be a lot of people to give you company.

Also, book a couple of months in advance; remember, it's peak season. Expect long lines at Maid of the Mist, Cave of the Winds, and Journey behind the Falls; these are the most popular rides and tours.

September to November

If you just can't make it from June to August, we suggest you visit Niagara Falls during fall. However, some years see snow from late October.
The good part about these months is the low rate you can get for your rooms, and also, lesser crowds. However, once it starts snowing, certain activities are going to close down.

December to February

The falls are open even in winter months, though snowstorms are a potential possibility. If the snow is very heavy, all tours might come to a halt, which they usually do.

There's just so much that is relied on weather conditions, you can't be sure. Attractions such as Maid of Mist, Whirlpool Jetboat, and Cave of the winds are closed for winter.

March to May

Spring isn't an altogether bad time to visit, but attractions can open as late as April. Crowds start coming in from May, and get heavier from June.
It is said that there is never a dull day in Niagara. If you are now deciding to visit Niagara falls, then be ready for a spectacular experience, one of a lifetime.
