The Walt Disney World Resort, better known just as Disney World, is controlled by Walt Disney Parks and Resorts which is an extension of The Walt Disney Company. It is located near Orlando, in the state of Florida, and consists of two water parks, four theme parks, and more than twenty theme hotels.

It is the largest amusement park present in the region, and was inaugurated in the year 1971 as a supplementary park to Disneyland, that is situated in Anaheim, California.

There are more than thirty resorts located on the property, that are classified into five categories on the basis of their costs. These categories are named as Campground, Value, Moderate, Vacation Club Villas, and Deluxe.

» Disney's Pop Century Resort: This resort is themed on the 20th century American pop culture. Each themed area is built in a motel-style architecture with the images of a particular decade. It has around 2,880 rooms, distributed across ten gigantic buildings.

There is a pool area with three pools, a central area with the front desk, a food court, gift shop, and an arcade. The hotel also has several shopping and dining places like, the Grab-N-Go market, Everything Pop, and Petals Pool Bar.

» Disney's All-Star Movies Resort: This resort is located in the southern region of the property. It is decorated with many giant Disney film icons, like the 'Duck Pond Pool,' 'The Love Bug,' 'Herbie,' 'One Hundred and One Dalmatians,' Mickey Mouse, and the famous 'Toy Story' characters.

Besides, the resort also has a poolside bar and a large food court. You can shop and dine at the Donald's Double Feature Store, Silver Screen Spirits Bar, Pizza Delivery, and World Premiere Food Court.

» Disney's All-Star Music Resort: This resort is situated near the Animal Kingdom theme park and has more than 1,600 rooms, paying homage to musical genres like country, jazz, rock n' roll, calypso, Broadway show tunes, etc.

This is the first Value resort to have family suites. Here, you can shop and dine at Pizza Delivery, Intermission Food Court, Maestro Mickey's, and Singing Spirits Pool Bar. There are many recreational amenities available, like the Jogging trail, Note'able Games Arcade, Piano Pool, and Calypso pool.

» Disney's All-Star Sports Resort: This resort has more than 1,900 rooms with a sports theme. They are decorated with giant novelty items, such as the baseball-themed Grand Slam Pool, a football field, SurfBoard Bay, and one football helmet.
