This small but icon packed European nation is known for many things, few of which include bulb fields, windmills, cheese markets, wooden shoes, canals of Amsterdam, masterpieces of Old Masters, Delft Blue earthenware, innovative water-management and millions of bicycles.
Netherlands on the whole is a beautiful nation and no city here has a charm less than the other. But, if we talk about the largest ones, the top are listed here.
The country capital & the world capital of entertainment and parties, Amsterdam is the largest city in the Netherlands.
#1. Amsterdam
Known for museums, canals, coffee shops, bridges, Dam Square and more, it is perfect for your holidays.
This port city is located at the banks of the Nieuwe Maas River and is famous for its Cubical Houses, the TV tower with a restaurant called Euromast.
#2. Rotterdam
The yellow cube homes are an icon of Rotterdam’s ultra-modern design. It is also known for its beautiful bridge Erasmusbrug and its wonderful Rotterdam Zoo.
One of the most beautiful Dutch cities on the North Sea Coast is home of the Dutch Government of the International Court of Justice, one of the most important courts.

Also known as the ‘International City of Peace’ it's the city where the Dutch Royal Family lives. Few highlights of the city include the historical center, renowned museums, and Scheveningen Beach.

Tilburg is home to the famous La Trappe monastery, which is one of two Trappist monasteries in the Netherlands.

Its central Grote Markt square is home to the centuries-old Martinitoren clock tower. The adjoining Martinikerk is a large Gothic church with frescoes and a baroque organ.
This lovely country estate is surrounded by woods and is home to a number of farm animals. There’s a restaurant and a playground, and something fun is organized every Sunday from Easter to October.

Nature lovers will enjoy Natuurbelevingcentrum de Oostvaarders, and Almere is not far from Amsterdam, making it easy to pop into the capital for a day of sightseeing.
Breda is a wonderful fun-loving city in the southern part of Netherlands. It is famous for its beautiful historic buildings, such as the Great Church, Begijnhof and Breda Castle.
