Old House of Yi Sang-hwa

Yi Sang-hwa was a Korean Nationalist poet who fought against Japanese colonialism. He stayed in this house from 1939 until his death in 1943.
After being in the state of neglect for some years post the poet’s death, the house was restored and is now open to the public.
They offer guided tours, providing an insight into the poet’s nationalist spirit and his work.
