Colorado is one such a state filled with breathtaking natural beauty and wild diversity. Probably, that’s why it’s called ‘Colorful Colorado’! The state is also an outdoor paradise which attracts most of the crowd.
If you haven’t been here, you’re definitely missing something. Here we bring to you some of the reasons why you should take a trip to Colorado!
1. The Beauty-packed National Parks
Rocky Mountain National Park offers an insight in its rich history, stunning range of plants, stargazing opportunities, diverse ecosystem, and overall raw natural beauty.
The Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park, is famous for its huge black walls having almost a depth of 2,000 feet and 50 feet length.
The Great Sand Dunes National Park & Preserve, boasts of the earth’s tallest sand dunes that reach over 700 feet!
Mesa Verde National Park boasts of  600 well-preserved Ancestral Pueblan cliff dwellings.

The state is famous for sightings of the bighorn sheep, moose, elk, goats; and predators like mountain lions, black bears, and bobcats.

The cities here are a perfect mix of modernization with natural charm. Denver, a metropolis, is well-known for its vibrant culture scene.

There are quaint towns that feature mining areas and railroads. Some like Carbondale, are famous for its culinary expertise.

Hiking is the most popular activity because of several trails with different difficulty levels.
With 54 mountain peaks rising over 14,000 feet and numerous trails all over, you just can’t say no to hiking!
There are several Via Ferrata, which are climbing routes made with affixed steel cables, and rungs that help climbers attach their harness securely.  
Backpacking, horseback riding, camping are some of the other activities that come with it. 
Fly fishing is a unique activity to try here. The Colorado River and the Granby streams are filled with 35 warm and cold water fish species.
Enjoy winter sports like skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, dog-sledding, and snowboarding. You may later rest in the world class ski resorts.

Colorado is sunny all year round, almost 300 days of sunshine! 
Even in the 300-inches snow of winters, it never gets gloomy because of the warm sunshine. Don’t forget to wear your sunscreen though!

Apart from the delicious food, the state is renowned for its beer. Colorado is fondly known as the Napa Valley of Beer with more than 200 breweries.
Denver also hosts the largest domestic beer festival in the US – Great American Beer Festival.
There are over 100 wineries and several distilleries to quench your thirst!
10. The Relaxing Spas
Enjoy a relaxing spa after your hectic day. There are river stone massages and you may rinse off in a copper tub later.
There are many hot springs here, so some places even get you the hot spring water in a tub for you! Breathe in the fresh mountain air and sit back and relax!
