Start to End
The 3.5-mile journey of the Cliff Walk starts at the Memorial Blvd or the Easton's end with multiple exists at Narragansett Ave, Webster St, Ruggles Ave, Marine Ave, Ledge Rd, or a final stop at the Bellevue Ave.
Nearly a mile from the start of the Newport Cliff Walk, The Forty Steps is a major recreational attraction with captivating views of the ocean.

*Beware of the slippery steps!
Surf on the natural beach- Belmont at Marine Avenue, or get the ocean therapy with alluring views of the city's famous mansions.
You'll get on comfortably with the easy-to-hike, paved sidewalks, perfect for sightseeing. The rocky terrains are the ones to watch out for!
Ruggles Ave till the end of Ledge Rd
Be steady with the rugged trails that are extremely close to the coast, and highly difficult to climb up and down the rocks on the cliff.
Whilst airing around on the Cliff Walk, you'll come across these beautiful stone stacking - a balancing act for hikers.
Geology nerds out there, make sure to head to the Ochre Point, for its distinct yellowish-ochre oxide rocks.
At the end of the tunnel
Built underneath a Chinese Tea House, this tunnel will open straight to the ocean at the Doris Duke's Rough Point.
