Skocjan Caves
Skocjan Caves is a popular natural cave system formed by the Reka River. Skocjan Caves was listed on UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1986.
Rock formation are mainly Stalactites, and Stalagmites. In 1999, the cave was listed in the Ramsar Directory of Wetlands of International Importance.

Praetorian Palace
Located in the southwest Slovenia, it is the 15th-century Venetian Gothic Praetorian Palace, an architectural icon of Koper.

The palace was open to the public in late 20th century. Today it serves as the Tourist Information Center and mayor's office.
Cathedral of Mary's Assumption
The cathedral originally dates back to the 12th century. It has the Gothic architecture on the lower half and Renaissance designs on the upper half.
Inside the church is the alterpiece by Vittore Carpaccio "Madonna with Child on the Throne of Saints."
Later in the 18th century, the interior of the church was redecorated by Giorgio Massari, an Italian architect.
Koper City Beach
Koper Beach is a pebble beach with no sand. There are lawns around for sunbathing and there is a enclosed area for swimming.
Koper Regional Museum
The museum is housed in the Belgramoni-Tacco Palace. It exhibits the artifacts, paintings, statues, folk instruments of the Venetian as well as the Renaissance period.
