Kremlin

The Kremlin was built-in the 14th century by Prince of Moscow, Ivan Klaita.

The whole area of the Kremlin houses a number of unique buildings such as Museum of Moscow Kremlin, Armory, Cathedrals of Assumption, St. Michael the Archangel and Ordination Church.
Ice Sculpture Gallery
It is a special kind of museum which only houses beautiful looking ice sculptures. It serves as a year around attraction and is one of the best places to visit in Moscow with kids and family.

The frozen architecture masterpieces puts every visitor in great wonder and the chilly atmosphere is accompanied with great music and amazing lights.
The Diamond Fund
It's a place where visitors can find diamonds, precious stones and jewelry which is priceless. This fund was founded in 1922 and initially it belonged to the Tzar of Russia but it has been open for public viewing since 1967.
It stores important historic relics of the Russian history such as the State Regalia (precious crown), Orloff Diamond (189.62 carats), Shah Diamond (88.7 carats) and the world's largest cut sapphire (258.8 carats) among others.
Among the many cool things to do in Moscow, people can also visit the world-famous Red Square. The venue derives its name from the term 'Krasnaya' which means beautiful and red.

Armory
As the name goes, Armory was specially founded to store weapons and imperial arms for the Russian military. Later the Armory also housed Jewelle, Icon Frames and Embroidery.
The Armory also housed some important beautiful pieces of jewelry, handicrafts of the time when Peter the Great ruled the Russian land. During recent years, the Armory has undergone lot of changes but still it holds the distinction of being one of the most artistic places in Moscow.
Izmailovo Park
One of the best things to do in Moscow is take a trip to the Izmailovo Park.
The park is very popular among foreign tourists and they can buy various items from its open air market which houses ancient Russian art, antiques and cold war memorabilia.
Seven Sisters
This term Seven Sisters consists of Hotel Ukrania, Kotelnicheskaya Embankment Apartments, the Kudrinskaya Square Building, the Hilton Moscow Leningradskaya Hotel, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the main building of the Moscow State University, and the Red Gates Administrative Building.
Hotel Ukrania
This amazing structure stands 206 meters tall with 34 floors. It was designed by Arkadi Mordvinow and Vyacheslav Oltarzhevsky and on its completion in 1957 it was Europe's largest hotel with a capacity of 1,630 people.
Kotelnicheskaya Embankment Apartments
This property is the most famous commercial and residential complex of the country.
It was designed by Dmitri Chechvlin and Andrei Rostkovsky and the building is 176 meters high. It has 32 floors of which 26 are for residences and the remaining are commercial spaces. Many meteorological experiments are also conducted from this building.
The Kudrinskaya Square Building
It was originally designed for housing various Russian leaders but due to the collapse of Soviet Union in 1991 this 22 floor amazing structure was not given any attention and it started losing its grace and shine.
The Hilton Moscow Leningradskaya Hotel
Originally known as the Leningradskaya Hotel, this 136 meter high tower was built by Leonid Polyakov.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The building has 27 levels and it currently houses the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and small branches of Ministry of Trade.
Moscow State University
The biggest sister in all the seven options, this university stands 240 meters tall and has 36 floors. The building can house more than 30,000 students and was inaugurated in 1936.
The Red Gates Administrative Building
The smallest of the Seven Sisters, this building stands 133 meters tall and houses many residential and administrative buildings. It was designed by the world-famous Alexei Dushkin.
