Elm Park

This historic park is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Originally a pastureland, the park includes several play areas, a pond with two footbridges, walking paths, and the wooded area of Newton Hill.

Mass Audubon's Broad Meadow Brook Conservation Center & Wildlife Sanctuary

The largest urban wildlife sanctuary in New England, it is spread across 400 acres of wilderness. It comprises well-marked trails going through woods, fields, streams, and marshes.

Green Hill Park

One of the most popular tourist spots in the city, this park features a baseball field, a golf course, handball courts, picnic areas, a children’s playground, two ponds, a farm, and a zoo. If you are traveling with family and kids, this is a great place to spend a day.

Massachusetts Vietnam Veterans Memorial

Located within the Green Hill Park, this memorial is dedicated to all those soldiers who lost their lives during the Vietnam War. You can book one of the guided public tours through the memorial and listen to the stories of the Vietnam War Veterans.

Central Massachusetts Korean War Memorial

Dedicated to the memory of 191 young soldiers from Worcester County who lost their lives fighting the Korean War, this memorial is definitely worth visiting. Walk through the beautiful “Walkway of Honor” that has inscribed bricks with Massachusetts' fallen war hero names.

Bancroft Tower

This granite edifice resembles a miniature feudal castle. It is open to visitors every Sunday in October. So, if you are traveling to Worcester in October, don’t miss this attraction as you won’t get to see it during any other month of the year!

Worcester City Hall and Common

Worcester City Hall is a beautiful Italianate edifice in the civic center of Worcester. Just in front of the city hall is the Common oval that features the famous ice-skating rink.
