This sleepy little town captured national attention in 1974, when legendary daredevil Evel Knievel tried to launch himself across the Snake River Canyon on his rocket-powered motorbike. Since then, it has been visited by open-minded tourists looking for an offbeat experience. As long as you know where to find them, you'll have plenty of good times here.

As you enter the city, you'll spot the Twin Falls Corn Maze. Step out of the car and see if you can find your way across all 9 acres of this corn labyrinth.

If you like working up a light sweat, head over to the only skate park in town, Harmon Park. Besides having fun skateboarding, you can even play baseball, basketball or tennis with the locals here.

As Twin Falls' main attraction, the magnificent 1000 ft wide Shoshone Falls certainly does live up to the hype. At 212 ft, it's higher than even Niagara Falls!

Upstream from the Shoshone Falls, a much calmer Snake River flows through the Snake River Canyon under the arch of the incredible Perrine bridge. In the spirit of Evel Knievel, this gorge has become a playground for daredevils.

Dare yourself to try base jumping off the Perrine bridge, into the valley below. Learn from the experts at places like Snake River BASE Academy or Tandem Base. With only 486 ft from the bridge to the bottom, you better hope the wind picks up!

For an extreme thrill-ride, check out AWOL Adventure Sports. You can cross the Snake River Canyon strapped to a zip line at speeds of up to 45 mph! As the locals say, it's time to "zip the Snake!"

The steep crags of Snake River Canyon call out to rock climbers from all over. They come to Twin Falls just to conquer these volcanic basalt cliffs. You can also head over to Dierkes Lake for a tough bouldering challenge.
