Great Barrier Reef

Ideal for snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing and cruising, the Great Barrier Reef is home to sea snakes, giant clams, whales, dolphins, sharks, rays and more.

Heart Reef

The most-prominent structure inside the Great Barrier Reef, the Heart Reef is a naturally-formed heart-shaped splotch of coral. The best way to see this structure is via helicopter or seaplane. One cannot snorkel or dive at this protected area.

Whitehaven Beach

You must explore the beach via its walking trails,  camp at the southern end and book a Ocean Rafting tour to the beach.

Hill Inlet

Located at the Northern end of the Whitehaven beach, the inlet's blue hues and white sand blend, creating a painting-like view!
You can reach the lookout at the Tongue Point to explore the inlet. Hire a yacht, powerboat or a ferry to visit the inlet or hire a helicopter or seaplane to view the inlet!

Hamilton Island

The only island with a commercial airport, it is home to luxury resorts brimming with water sports.
You can play golf and tennis, hike the trails, relax at the restaurants in the marina and explore the island in a golf buggy.

Hayman Island

Home to the luxurious resort, this northernly-located island has everything to indulge in, from a spa to a wedding chapel and watersport rentals like snorkeling, diving and hiking.

Airlie Beach

A playground for backpackers, the beach is a perfect place to set up your base while visiting the islands. Stroll along the Bicentennial Walkway, grab a snack at the local cafe, buy a souvenir at the Lions Airlie Beach Market, while at the beach.
