Szeged is the third-largest city in Hungary and known as the 'city of sunshine' for its beautiful weather. It has many places worth visiting and enjoyable things to do, that make it a traveler's delight.
This is the fourth-largest church in Hungary. It has 2 towers (91 m high) and a 54 m high dome in between. It is the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Szeged–Csanád.

This is the oldest building in the city; its foundation was laid in the 11th century. A unique sight here is the Gate of Life, created by János Bille in 1931. It explains a Christian life through symbols.
Spanning an area of 40 hectares, this zoo treats injured, orphaned animals and animals recovered from illegal smuggling. It houses around 600 animals of 140 species which include the wolverine, the bat-eared fox, and the Siberian tiger among others.

See the National Theatre of Szeged
Built by the company of Ferdinand Fellner and Hermann Helmer, in 1883, the construction represents the Eclectic and Neo-baroque style. It is the main theater of Szeged.
Its architectural style, the semicircular facade and two statues, and the beautiful interiors make this theater stand out.
Designed by Magyar Ede and built in the Hungarian Art Nouveau style, this palace was completed in 1907. It hosts photography and visual arts exhibitions.
