1. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
Located in Georgia, USA, this airport has been topping the charts since 2000! It is named so after Atlanta's former mayors: William B. Hartsfield and Maynard Jackson. The airport attracts about 110.5 million passengers.
With 100 million passenger capacity, China's Beijing airport has secured the second spot. The airport has, in fact, maintained this rank since 2010! Another feather in its cap is its terminal, which stands third in the list of  world's largest terminals.

This is one of the two airports in Shanghai and mostly handles the international flights. With 76.1 million passengers, it has jumped up a spot from its previous year's ranking. Also, the airport stands third in cargo traffic.
9. Paris International Airport
It is also known as Charles de Gaulle Airport, named after the leader who led the Free French Forces in World War II and later became the president in 1959. With 76.1 million passengers, it has jumped up from its previous spot of 10th ranking and is only few thousand passengers short of the 8th position.
10. Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport
With an impressive count of 75 million passengers, the airport has seen the biggest upward jump of direct 5 spots from 15th to 10th in the world's busiest airport ranking this year. Also, it holds third spot in aircraft movement traffic in the world.
