North County San Diego is a suburban region with many quaint seaside towns. The County stretches from Del Mar up to the Oceanside towns. On the east it spreads to the San Marcos and the sprawling city of Escondido. It is 25 miles north of San Diego Downtown

Legoland Amusement Park

Lego themed amusement park is specifically designed for children between the ages 2 and 12. It features over 60 theme rides, shows and you can also take a tour of LEGO factory.

San Diego Zoo Safari Park

California Surf Museum

A museum dedicated to the history of surfing is situated at Carlsbad in Oceanside. Wooden surfboards used in the 1900s to today's fiberglass boards, are all exhibited here.

Surfboard and swimsuit of Bethany Hamilton, a professional surfer who was bitten by a shark, are also displayed here in this museum.

Queen Califia’s Magical Circle

Located in Escondido, it is a sculpture park created by Niki De Saint Phalle, a French artist. Decorated with mythical creatures covered in hand-cut colored mirror glass, ceramic and stone mosaic tiles.

Torrey Pines State Reserve

Torrey Pines State Reserve has hiking trails that meander through Torrey Pine trees, cliffs and estuaries of the Pacific Ocean. The steps carved on the hillside takes you down to the beach.

Historical Oceanside Pier

You can take a stroll over the Oceanside Pier to enjoy the surfers ride a wave, fishermen with their catch or grab a bite of fresh seafood.

While on the pier, at times you can spot pelicans, seagulls, dolphins, seals, stingrays, fish, and much more.
